Senior Pastor Full Time

Cropwell Baptist is prayerfully seeking the full-time senior pastor that God has already chosen for His church.

The senior pastor must be prepared to demonstrate his qualifications as defined in 1 Timothy 3:1-
7 and Titus 1:6-9. He will also support participation by and with our members in mission projects
across the street and around the globe in obedience to Matthew 28:16-20. The senior pastor will
lead, mentor, and work with the staff, church leadership, and the congregation in the various
functions of the church and worship services. He and his family will be supportive of the full
activities of the church.

The senior pastor will be a loving shepherd who feeds, protects, and cares for the flock that God
has placed under his leadership. He will be a man of prayer, conservative in doctrine, who
preaches the gospel, primarily in an expository format. He will have integrity, humility, maturity,
a teachable spirit, and the ability to communicate biblical truths clearly and persuasively through
the preaching of God’s Word and his own Christian example.

with one another, and serve others. God has blessed us with multigenerational ministries,
including a growing preschool, an active children’s program, a dynamic student family, and
strong adult ministries. Rooted in Pell City for over a century, we engage brothers and sisters in
Christ through discipleship as we reach our local community and extend missions both nationally
and internationally. We seek unity in our actions and let love be the mark of who we are in
Christ.
