VBS Coordinator — First Baptist Church of Pensacola

Do you love VBS? Do you love planning and executing events? Do you love Jesus? Do you love kids?
If you answered “yes” to those questions, we’d love to talk with you about joining our team as our VBS Coordinator!

Over the last several years, God has blessed our Vacation Bible School with incredible growth — with over 500 children registered this past year! We’re looking for a passionate, organized individual to join our Children’s Ministry Team to help plan, coordinate, and carry out our next VBS.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with theme selection and overall event planning
Recruiting, organizing, and communicating with volunteers
Coordinating logistics and schedules during the week of VBS
Overseeing event setup and execution
Helping with follow-up and evaluation after the event

Schedule & Compensation:
This is a part-time, seasonal position. Hours will begin at just a few per week during the early planning stages in early 2026, increasing as VBS approaches. The position will conclude after follow-up and debrief are complete. Compensation will be based on experience.
