Youth and/or Worship Leader Full Time

Taneytown Baptist Church is located in a growing community of Taneytown, MD, located about an hour from Baltimore and 1-½ hours from Washington, DC! We are currently searching to fill positions for youth leader and worship leader. The position would be full time for a candidate qualified to fill both roles, part time for one role. Qualifications:
● Personal relationship with Jesus Christ marked by spiritual maturity and integrity
● Minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably in a related field
● Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)
● Previous experience in youth and/or music ministry a plus
Responsibilities:
Youth Leader –
● Lead youth on Wednesday night and Sunday mornings for Sunday school
● Coordinate and implement year-round student events, including camps and other recreational and evangelistic activities, with at least one social event per quarter
● Represent the church through active involvement in local schools and community activities
● Partner along with the staff and congregation to support the vision of Taneytown Baptist Church
● Provide care and guidance to students and families as needed
● Other responsibilities as assigned by the senior pastor
Worship Leader –
● Plan and coordinate Sunday morning worship music and provide leadership in congregational singing
● Provide leadership and support for special services and events (holidays, revivals, student-led services, etc.) as needed
● Other responsibilities as assigned by the senior pastor
