Bi-Vocational Youth Director Part Time

First Baptist Church of Rochelle is actively seeking a part-time or bi-vocational youth director with the desire and commitment to disciple and build relationships with our future church leaders. Requirements of the youth director include:

Have a calling from God into the youth ministry.

Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Have prior Bible teaching and/or small group leadership.

Have a desire to invest in the lives of current and future students.

Have a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to pass a background check and DMV check.

Be supportive of all church activities by reasonable participation and cooperation.

Will lead under the general supervision of the senior pastor. 

Will lead and facilitate all youth group activities, including: Sunday at 6pm and Wednesday at 7pm.

Will be expected to plan, coordinate, and participate in monthly student activities and annual trips.

Be in agreement with the BF&M 2000.

The position will require approximately 20 hours per week with a salary of $25,000 per year.
