Worship Leader Part Time

Position Title: Worship Leader
Location: Roy, UT
Reports To: Senior Pastor
Type: Part-Time
Salary: $500.00/month

Role Description: The Worship Leader will serve as the primary leader in cultivating worship through music and providing direction and oversight to The Gathering Place Church audio/visual team. The Worship Leader will be a mature follower of Christ who helps people know the Lord and make Him known through facilitating opportunities for authentic worship through music.

Key Responsibilities

 Musical Capability: Possess the skill to lead vocally and instrumentally.

 Team Development: Oversee the recruitment, development, and utilization of others as a part of the worship team.

 Disciple maker: A regular, ongoing pattern of investing in individuals for their spiritual growth in a way that they too invest in other people’s spiritual growth–specifically among the worship team.

 Technological Capabilities: Demonstrate understanding of relevant software platforms and confidence in sound, lights, and video.

 Leader Development: Utilize the opportunity to develop other musicians and technical volunteers to grow them in their skills.

Requirements

 A deep and growing relationship with Christ and a clear calling to serve as the Worship Leader at The Gathering Place Church.
 Support and investment in the Goodwater mission, vision, values, and statement of faith.
 Experience in leading worship through music and developing other’s skills.
 Has an entrepreneurial spirit to build the worship and media teams.
 Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
 Ability to connect with a variety of people.
