Position Summary:

Arrowwood Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Worship Minister to lead and coordinate the church’s music ministry, ensuring that every worship service glorifies God and engages the congregation. This role involves organizing and directing musicians, choirs, and worship teams, as well as collaborating with the pastor and media team to plan and execute services that harmonize traditional and contemporary worship styles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Worship Service Leadership & Planning: Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and media team to design and execute worship services that blend traditional and contemporary styles. Select and arrange congregational music that complements sermon themes, seasonal events, and the overall mission of the church.
• Team Supervision & Development: Oversee, mentor, coordinate, and disciple music ministry personnel—including worship teams, accompanists, and choir directors—to foster a cohesive and inspiring worship environment.
• Rehearsals, Special Events, & Administration: Schedule and lead weekly rehearsals, prepare musical elements for both regular services and special events (e.g., seasonal musicals), and manage administrative tasks such as maintaining music resources and arranging substitute musicians as needed.

Qualifications:

• A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for worship ministry.
• Demonstrated experience in directing a choir, ensemble, or musical group within a church setting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and musical abilities.
• A stable, mature Christian with spiritual gifs in administration, exhortation, and mercy.
• Dependable, outgoing, and consistent personality traits that inspire and engage others.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in church-wide events, staff meetings, and planning sessions.
• Commit to approximately 12 hours per week for ministry preparation, with additional time during special events, and 3–4 hours per month for meetings and training.
• Actively pursue personal spiritual growth and professional development.
