ActiveShepherd Staff is honored to be working with Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village as they search for their next Lead Pastor. Balboa is a warm and friendly Southern Baptist Church seeking to bring Christ to their community.
The Lead Pastor is responsible to the church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the Biblical revelation as the inerrant and inspired Word of God, to engage in and oversee pastoral care ministries, to provide administrative leadership in all areas of church life, and to act as the lead minister of the ministry staff and support staff.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Biblical Preacher and Teacher: A Southern Baptist committed to the inerrancy of Scripture, skilled in expository preaching for diverse audiences.
- Relational Shepherd and Leader: Builds strong community ties across demographics, balancing tradition with growth through collaborative leadership.
- Servant-Hearted Visionary: Prioritizes pastoral care, outreach, and evangelism with Christlike humility, engaging both older and younger congregants effectively.
