Beacon Life Ministries is seeking a Bi-Vocational Pastor to lead our Church Family.  We are looking for someone with Godly Vision and Leadership skills and a deep desire to see the Kingdom of God expanded through His Church.

Job Description:

  • Maintain a vital and growing personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Prepare, Lead, and Preach the Sunday Morning Worship Service
  • Work with the Church Leaders and Ministry Teams to carry out the mission and purpose of this Church
  • Prepare and lead the Monthly Church Council Meeting
  • Moderate the Monthly Church Ministry Meeting and any other Church Meetings
  • Equip the congregation for ministry and evangelism
  • Attend to the congregation’s pastoral needs, including (as necessary and available), visitation, prayer, and counseling
  • Perform Baptisms of new believers: perform Weddings and Funerals when available

Qualifications:

  • Born Again and has a clear personal testimony of his conversion and commitment to Christ: has a sure sense of God’s calling on his life to serve in Pastoral Ministry
  • The Pastor shall serve under the guidance of the Holy Spirit
  • Prior experience as a Pastor is preferred but not required
  • Forma Pastoral or Seminary degree is not required
  • Must meet the Biblical Qualifications for a Pastor (1 Tim. 3: Titus 1:1, 1 Peter 5:1-4)
  • Is a man who can “rightly divide the Word of God” (2 Tim 2:15)
  • Teaches and preaches in accordance with the SBC Baptist Faith and Message 2000 Statement
  • Is capable of Expository Preaching

Salary:  $13,000- $16,000:  two weeks paid vacation
