Children’s Ministry Director Part Time

Part-time Children’s Ministry Director – We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and hardworking leader to nurture the next generation and their families.  This person will plan and execute weekly children’s ministry activities, including scheduling nursery volunteer coverage for Wednesday and Sunday services; and coordinating Bethel Kidz Church program.  Current children’s programs are thriving and ready for a child/family-loving person of God with a heart for ministry.  Resumes and questions can be submitted to:  [email protected].

Qualifications:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• Be a spiritual leader and sensitive to the needs of children and their families.
• Previous experience using Planning Center software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in working with children.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• 20-25 hour work week.
• Develop and maintain relationships with children and their families both within the church and the community.
• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and delegate to ensure that all children’s ministry activities and classes are set up to thrive with the correct materials and volunteers.
  • Schedule weekly nursery coverage for all Bethel services including Wednesday night prayer meeting and Sunday morning Bible study (using Planning Center software).
  • Schedule weekly coverage for Bethel Kidz Church (using Planning Center software).
  • Update & maintain Planning Center scheduling app with monthly curriculum for Bethel Kidz Church via Grow Curriculum subscription.
  • Print & organize weekly teaching materials for Bethel Kidz Church.
  • Grow, train, support, communicate with, and organize volunteers for our growing Bethel Kidz program (Current volunteer group of 30+ volunteers).
  • Set-up and take down Bethel Kidz layout weekly in the Fellowship Hall.
  • Be available Sunday mornings to lead, teach, emcee, support, fill-in, and/or delegate during Bethel Kidz church.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor and Family Pastor.
