Worship Pastor Part Time

Bethesda Baptist Church in Burleson, TX is seeking to fill the part-time or bivocational position of Minister of Music. Candidate must possess strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as good communication skills to coordinate with the Pastor, musicians, choir, and soloists. Responsibilities include leading worship services, coordinating special music and events, organizing and/or leading the choir or singers.

The church would prefer someone who can lead while playing and instrument. The guitar is preferred, or the piano.

The church currently has a traditional worship style. The person leading would be able to lead in that environment, while slowly leading us to a blended worship style. This would include aiding the church in finding instrumentalists to help with worship during the time in transition from one style to another.
