The Church Office Administrator is the welcoming face and steady hand behind our daily operations, with a touch of creativity to help us shine in our community. This pivotal role ensures our office runs smoothly, our staff and volunteers are supported, and our congregation feels cared for, while also amplifying our message through light marketing and social media efforts. Key Responsibilities:

– Office Management: Oversee daily administrative tasks, including managing phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with warmth and professionalism. Maintain an organized office environment, including supplies, equipment, and records.
– Communication Hub: Draft and distribute newsletters, announcements, and correspondence to keep the congregation informed and engaged. Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure clear, timely communication.
– Event Support: Assist with planning and coordinating church events, from Sunday services to special programs, ensuring schedules, resources, and logistics are in place.
– Database Oversight: Maintain accurate membership records, attendance tracking, and other databases to support pastoral care and outreach efforts.
– Marketing & Social Media: Create and schedule simple, engaging social media posts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to highlight events, share updates, and connect with our community. Assist with basic marketing tasks like designing flyers or updating the church website with event details and news.
– Team Collaboration: Provide administrative support to the pastoral staff and ministry leaders, helping them focus on their calling by managing schedules, preparing materials, and assisting with projects.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with basic social media platforms; familiarity with church management software (e.g., Planning Center, Power Church) or design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
– A creative spark and willingness to contribute ideas for sharing our story with the community.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
– A team player who’s adaptable, proactive, and eager to serve others.
