Senior Pastor Full Time

We are looking for a pastor to lead our congregation in the Brewer Community of Lee County, Mississippi. We are looking for an individual who is committed to spiritual growth and community engagement, and who embodies our core values, which include the belief that divinely inspired men wrote the Holy Bible, serving as God’s revelation to humanity.

Our mission is to glorify God by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with a lost and dying world. We aim to support our members in deepening their faith through worship, ministry, missions, and small group Bible studies, while fostering closer relationships with one another through fellowship and with the lost through personal evangelism.

Qualities and Responsibilities of Our Pastor

Our pastor should exemplify the characteristics outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9. The key duties include:

Leading worship services
Administering sacraments
Providing counseling
Teaching congregation members
Overseeing church activities
Engaging in community outreach
Additionally, responsibilities encompass:

Upholding church policies
Encouraging open communication
Being accountable to both the congregation and the deacons.
