Worship Leader/Music Minister Part Time

Brooks Baptist Church, located in Brooks, Georgia, is prayerfully seeking a part-time Worship Leader/Music Minister to lead our congregation in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. We are a small but growing Southern Baptist church committed to our mission: Love God. Live the Gospel. Light the Way.

Position Overview:
The Worship Leader/Music Minister will work closely with the pastor to plan and lead worship services that glorify God and engage the congregation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate spiritual maturity, musical proficiency, and a heart for ministry.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading congregational worship on Sunday mornings
• Coordinating and/or leading music rehearsals
• Planning music that aligns with the weekly sermon and church calendar
• Recruiting and developing musicians and vocalists
• Assisting with special services (e.g., Easter, Christmas)

Qualifications:

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Experience leading worship in a church setting
• Ability to play an instrument (preferably piano or guitar)
• Strong vocal ability and leadership skills
• Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)

Compensation:
This is a paid, part-time position. The role is bivocational and compatible with other employment.
