Brush Creek Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation located on Airport Road in Bear Creek, North Carolina. We are a loving, Christ‑centered church committed to the authority of Scripture, prayer, discipleship, and sharing the Gospel in our community and beyond. We are seeking the pastor God is calling to shepherd our congregation and lead us forward in spiritual growth and mission.

Position Summary

The Pastor will serve as the spiritual leader of Brush Creek Baptist Church, providing biblical preaching, pastoral care, and visionary leadership. He will work with the church leadership and congregation to proclaim the Gospel, equip believers for ministry, and guide the church in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Responsibilities

Preach and teach the Word of God faithfully and biblically.
Provide spiritual leadership, vision, and oversight for the church.
Shepherd the congregation through pastoral care, counseling, and visitation.
Lead and support worship services, ordinances, and special services.
Equip and encourage members for discipleship, evangelism, and service.
Work closely with church leadership, committees, and ministry teams.
Represent the church within the local community and support missions efforts.
Qualifications

A clear calling from God to pastoral ministry.
A growing and vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
Ordination preferred.
Previous pastoral experience is desirable but not required.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
