Senior Pastor Part Time

We are a small, a warm and faithful Southern Baptist congregation located on the East side of Marion County, Indiana in the community of Cumberland, is prayerfully seeking a Pastor to shepherd our church family into its next season of ministry.

Our congregation is predominantly senior-aged, deeply rooted in traditional worship, and committed to biblical teaching, evangelism, missions, and community outreach.   We are a small, loving church who treasure God’s Word and the good old hymns. We believe God still has work for us to do, and we want to finish well.

We are prayerfully seeking a Pastor who will shepherd our congregation with a heart for God’s Word, a love for people, and a vision for ministry that meets the unique spiritual needs of adults in mid-life and beyond.

We are praying for a pastor who:

·         Loves senior adults and finds joy in shepherding them.

·         Preaches the Word faithfully and clearly.

·         Has energy to gently lead us toward health.

·         Appreciates traditional worship and the hymns of the faith.

·         Sees our community as a mission field, especially those in midlife and older.
