Pastor Full Time

Butters Baptist Church, a vibrant and welcoming Southern Baptist congregation, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time pastor to lead our church in spiritual growth, outreach, and community service. Our church is committed to biblical teaching, discipleship, and building a loving, Christ-centered fellowship. The ideal candidate will have a heart for preaching, teaching, and shepherding our congregation as we seek to grow in our faith and reach our community for Christ.

Responsibilities:

Preach and teach biblical messages from KJV Bible that inspire and challenge the congregation in their walk with Christ.
Provide pastoral care, including visitation, counseling, and prayer for church members and the community.
Lead the church in the administration of sacraments (baptism and Lord’s Supper).
Provide leadership in church ministries, programs, and activities that promote spiritual growth and community outreach.
Work alongside church staff, leadership, and volunteers to encourage unity and vision for the church.
Serve as a spiritual guide for the congregation, leading by example in faith, integrity, and personal devotion.
Assist with the planning and execution of church events and services.
Oversee and support the development of church leaders, including deacons and ministry heads.

Qualifications:

A deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Southern Baptist doctrine and values.
Ordained as a pastor or willing to seek ordination (if applicable).
Previous pastoral experience in preaching and leadership preferred.
Strong communication skills, both in preaching and in personal interactions.
A servant leader with a heart for the church, the community, and fulfilling the Great Commission.
Ability to work collaboratively with church leaders and members.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage church resources effectively.
