Music/Worship Leader Part Time

Cadiz Baptist Church is seek to fill the position of music/worship leader. 

Job Description for Music Leader is to include the following:

• Must commit to join the church as a family unit of church member(s)
• Must come alongside the existing blended worship band (traditional and contemporary worship songs), but also have creative freedoms to lead the congregation in worship, with music committee involvement
• Plan worship music for weekly services (Planning Center and Music Stand are current applications being used)
• Lead the church with congregational engagement in songs and organized worship
• Manage budget and conduct business with stewardship 
• Coordinate and collaborate services and events with music committee, pastor, and leadership teams
• Able to work without direct supervision, and balance of responsibilities, 6month/1year evaluation with personnel committee review process 
• In addition candidates should be a born again Christian and commit to meeting the 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5 qualifications for church leaders.
• A strong commitment to Cadiz Baptist Church’s doctrine, vision, values, and beliefs, of equipping and discipling, commitment to a team approach of ministry with a love for God’s Word and a relational style of leadership and ministry, with a joyful spirit and good sense of humor.
