Director of Facilities & Maintenance
Principal Functions: 
The Director of Facilities and Maintenance provides strategic and hands-on leadership for the care, safety, operation, and long-term stewardship of all church buildings, grounds, equipment, and facility systems. The director develops preventive-maintenance programs, leads staff and volunteers, manages contractors and budgets, plans capital improvements, and ensures that church facilities are safe, welcoming, dependable, and prepared to support the church’s ministries and continued growth.

A leadership position charged with the task of ensuring the completion of  all custodial & maintenance work in order to maintain all church facilities in a clean and presentable condition for church and community functions. These tasks may be carried out by the Director, a member of their team, or through a contracted work effort by another business.    These tasks  include cleaning and sanitizing, interior and exterior building maintenance, grounds maintenance, and room setup for various events, meetings, and services.  The director must be able to lead people, manage complex building systems, plan ahead, and support ministry operations.
