Pastor Part Time

Campton Baptist Church is seeking to hire a bi-vocational or co-vocational associate pastor to share in the ministry of the word and prayer and the work of evangelism. The duties of the staff elder would include preaching and teaching and planning and conducting worship and prayer services in cooperation with the other elders. Housing (parsonage), utilities allowance and monthly stipend provided. We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000), the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and the Nashville Statement on gender and sexuality. 

If you are a man aspiring to the work of the pastor for the first time, please submit letters or statements of recommendation from your present church membership and/or leadership as to your qualifications and suitability for the work. If you are already pastoring a church, please provide similar references insofar as it doesn’t interfere with your current ministry to that congregation. You may also present a ministry resume and personal statement of faith and any other documents you wish.
