Cassville Baptist Church is seeking a qualified man to fulfill the role of Associate Pastor for Family Life. This person will have oversight on all ministries ranging from Birth to College. The ideal candidate will have prior ministry experience and training with a gift for leading volunteers and coordinating multiple ministries simultaneously. The biggest challenge to this leader will be coordinating the various ongoings of Wednesday nights. A successful Associate Pastor will be able to develop leaders who can carry the torch of each ministry while he assures everything is working on Wednesdays.

• Maturing believer whose family supports and engages in church life and ministry
• Meets pastoral qualifications laid out in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Loves and wishes to serve the local church
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in ministry setting

Responsibilities

• Providing direct leadership to the youth ministry of Cassville Baptist Church. This means:
  • Overseeing Wednesday night meetings
  • Working in conjunction with Sunday school director and teachers on Youth Curriculum
  • Overseeing 2-4 Major Events for youth per year (Including Youth Camp)
  • Leading Bi-Monthly Leadership and Training Meetings with Volunteers
  • Developing a Student Leadership Team
  • Visiting local school lunches
  • Reaching out to the youth of Bartow County
• Provide support and training to volunteer leaders of:
  • Nursery
  • Children’s Ministry
  • Ministry Training
  • Institute Children’s Camp
  • Vacation Bible School
• Work with the Lead Pastor to create outreach and discipleship events aimed toward parents discipling their children
• Monthly communication with parents and leaders regarding ministry events, highlights, and prayer points
• Engage in the life of Cassville Baptist Church. Attends churchwide events, trainings, etc.
• Offering pastoral care where needed (home visits, hospital visits, funerals, weddings)
• Attend Monthly Deacons’ Meetings
• Office hours and other duties as assigned
• Reports to Lead Pastor

Salary

$37,500-50,000 commensurate with experience; Full-Time
