Youth Minister Full Time

Central Baptist Church (SBC), Eureka, Missouri is prayerfully seeking a full-time Youth Minister to join our staff to lead middle and high school students to Christ while providing spiritual guidance. Eureka, MO is a suburban community with a thriving community.  Central Baptist Church is filled with loving people with an average attendance of 170 each week.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for students and a desire to teach the Word of God and disciple young minds.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee youth ministry, including Sundays and Wednesday nights
• Evaluate current program and create vision for youth ministry
• Work directly with students in a way that meets their needs for spiritual growth
• Recruit, train, support, and oversee volunteer leaders for youth ministry
• Keep parents informed of all youth ministry events
• Coordinate a balanced calendar, which provides for the relational and spiritual needs of students
• Plan regular monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities for students (D-Now, camp, game nights…etc)
• Manage youth ministry budget

Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years leading or assisting in youth ministry
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage digital presence through social media and communicate through text and email
