ActiveAssociation Mission Strategist (AMS) – Concord Baptist Association
About the Concord Baptist Association
The Concord Baptist Association (CBA) is a collaborative network of 55 Southern Baptist churches in Rutherford County, TN, fulfilling the mission of God locally and globally through strengthening, starting, and sending congregations.
CBA churches represent a broad range of ministry contexts, including urban, suburban, rural, multi-generational, and ethnically diverse congregations. As Rutherford County and the greater Middle Tennessee area continue to grow, the CBA cooperates with these churches to engage both long-time residents and new families. Together, we partner to encourage pastors, equip leaders, strengthen and revitalize existing churches, and plant new congregations in one of the state’s fastest-growing regions.
Our values include:
Collaboration – Partner for greater ministry & work together to support, encourage, and pray for one another. (Ecclesiastes 4:9–12; Ephesians 4:16; Nehemiah 4:6)
Resourcing – Add value by helping churches accomplish their mission. (2 Corinthians 8; Matthew 20:28)
Future Focused – Assist local churches to position themselves to evangelize and disciple present and future generations. (Psalms 78:6; Psalms 22:30; Isaiah 43:18–19; 1 Corinthians 9:19–23)
Diversity – Embrace our responsibility to engage and celebrate the ethnic diversity in our area through existing and new churches. (Matthew 28:18–20; Revelation 7:9; Revelation 14:6–7)
Kingdom Focused – Place kingdom advancement at the forefront of serving our local community in charity while preserving Scriptural and doctrinal truth that moves us forward in the gospel. (Matthew 6:31–33; Acts 28:23, 30–31)
