Lead Pastor Part Time

Connection Church Hettinger is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational pastor to shepherd our congregation. The church was established in 2019. The congregation is multigenerational. About 40% of our weekly attendance consists of children/youth with frequent new-comers/guests. We are currently meeting in a rented space awaiting God’s direction regarding a permanent location. Hettinger is a small town in rural southwestern ND.

Candidates should have a clear understanding of scripture, have a desire for reaching the lost and also a desire to meet the spiritual needs of our congregation. Candidate should meet the biblical requirements for an elder according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. We seek a pastor who will teach God’s Word verse by verse using expository teaching. The pastor will be well supported by congregants who enjoy serving in the church. Our lead pastor would need to be bi-vocational or have an additional source of income.
