Cordova Baptist Church is a vibrant, healthy congregation in Cordova, North Carolina. We are associated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Pee Dee Baptist Association. This church endorses the Articles of Faith, as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.

Our church covenant: We engage to walk together in Christian love; strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote proper and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and spread the gospel through all nations.

We are currently seeking a full-time pastor to fill the position following the retirement of our previous pastor, who served for 10 years. Our congregation has an average attendance of 90-115. Our congregation has a wide variety of ages, ranging from infants to elderly adults and shut-ins.

We are looking for someone energetic, dedicated, and filled with the Holy Spirit to lead and grow the church. We seek an individual who preaches and lives the Word of God. He will lead Sunday morning services and Sunday night church services as well as Wednesday night Bible Study. The pastor will be in charge of the welfare and oversight of the church. He will be an ex officio member of all organizations and committees. It shall be his special responsibility, in cooperation with the church members, to win the lost souls to Christ, to minister to the spiritual needs of the congregation, and through prayer and study render effective preaching and pastoral ministries.
