Children’s Ministry Director Part-Time Part Time

The Children’s Ministry Director will serve in part-time capacity, under the leadership of the Student Pastor and with the assistance of the Children’s Ministry Team. This individual will have a personal relationship with Jesus as evidenced by their desire to love, serve and exalt Christ. This individual will be responsible for all ministry activities birth – 5th grade. Although this individual serves as the “head” of the Children’s department they are not serving alone as they have the oversight of the Children’s ministry team and volunteers.

Salary & Benefits (range dependent upon experience and education): 20,800 – 30,000 per year

Although an office at the Church will be provided, the CMD will be allowed to work from home as long as one office day is given per week. This is a part-time position.

The qualifications and responsibilities of the CMD will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry, Education, or a related field

·       Commit to working 15-20 hours per week, including full-time participation as a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

·       Able to pass criminal background check

·       Must be a “self-starter,” highly organized, with an gift for administration and socialization

·       Communicate, plan, and lead regular meetings with Children’s Ministry Team

·       Oversee various Children’s department heads such as: Bus Captains, Awana Director, etc.

·       Post children’s related activities/events on social media as needed

·       Maintain background check records for all children’s volunteers

·       Coordinate and maintain nursery and Children’s Church schedule

·       Maintain an informative and welcoming relationship with Children’s parents

·       Must be in full agreement with BFM 2000 without exception
