Sound Engineer Part Time

Responsibilities:

Oversee all audiovisual components—including soundboard, video equipment, livestream, and lighting (as applicable)—during Sunday worship service at 11:00 AM.
Coordinate and operate sound during Sunday morning praise team rehearsals and pre-service warmups.
Operate and maintain equipment utilizing Behringer X32, ProPresenter, and Vimeo with a strong understanding of sound and livestream technologies.
Recruit, train, and support volunteers serving in the AV ministry.
Collaborate closely with pastors, musicians, and staff to create a smooth, engaging, and distraction-free worship experience.

Qualifications:

A passion for worship and a desire to serve through technical excellence.
Proficient in operating soundboards, video, and lighting systems.
Strong working knowledge of ProPresenter (version 7 or higher).
Ability to train, lead, and encourage volunteers with patience and clarity.
Dependable and consistently punctual.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Prior experience in church production or live event audio/video preferred.

Requirements:

Must be a professing Christian and willing to become an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Demonstrated technical skill and dependability in sound engineering and live production.

Position Details:

Part-time position (approximately 5–6 hours per week).
Additional hours for special events compensated at the regular hourly rate.
Compensation commensurate with experience, skill, and availability.
