Senior Pastor Full Time

Countryside Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, loving, diverse and growing community of faith. Our church is committed to serving God and reaching out to the lost and unchurched in our community. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and experienced Senior Pastor to join us and lead our congregation in spiritual growth and service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exhibit excellent communication abilities and demonstrate a deep commitment to the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Position requirements:

• Southern Baptist ordained pastor
• Deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• Seminary experience (Master’s Degree preferred)
• Experience in a Pastoral role exhibiting the qualities in 1Timothy 3:1-7:
  Titus 1:6 and 1 Peter 5:2-4.
• Exceptional communication skills with a passion for empowering
  others to grow in their faith.
• Strong leadership skills
• Deep understanding of and commitment to the Bible, Christian
  theology and the Southern Baptist tradition.

Lead Pastor Responsibilities:

• Provide spiritual leadership, biblical guidance and also provide pastoral care for our
  church family by fostering a culture of faith, love and service.
• Develop and deliver engaging Bible-based messages during our times
  of worship as well as on special occasions.
• Plan and lead all services collaborating with the worship team to ensure
  that the services are meaningful and spiritually enriching.
• Facilitate and encourage spiritual growth and discipleship.
• Oversee the administration and management of our church staff.
