Position Overview: Crestview (www.peoplesharingjesus.com) is seeking a passionate and dynamic Student Minister called to lead, equip, and inspire our youth ministry for students in grades 6-12 and families. This full-time role is critical in advancing our church’s vision of being a People Sharing Jesus.

Key Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive student ministry programs for middle and high school students
Develop and implement strategic student ministry vision and programming
Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer leaders
Conduct evangelism and outreach efforts targeting students
Communicate effectively with students, parents, volunteers, and church leadership

Qualifications

Education: All viable candidates must have a strong theological background within the Baptist tradition. A bachelor’s degree or willingness to obtain one is required. Graduate theological education is preferred. 

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in student ministry with a demonstrated success in youth leadership and program development.

Required Competencies: 

Strong biblical and theological understanding within the baptistic framework
Exceptional communication skills (in-person and digital platforms)
Digital fluency across multiple technological platforms
Leadership and team development abilities
Cultural competency with youth demographics and trends

Position Details

Reports directly to the Lead Pastor
Denominational Affiliation: Texas Baptist and Southern Baptist Convention
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and education
