Reports To: Senior Pastor
Pay Rate: $7,500 annually with potential to increase based on performance
Primary Function: To oversee the Worship Ministry of Damascus Baptist Church. To ensure smoothly operating worship services. To plan, prepare for, and lead weekly worship services that connect all age groups and backgrounds, promotes authentic worship, and proclaims the message of the Gospel.
Damascus Baptist Church is a southern Baptist church located in a small community just outside the town of Enterprise, Alabama. We hold Sunday morning services each week with a congregation of about 120 on average, and Wednesday night services with about 100 in attendance. Our church is blessed with a mix of all age groups. We are proud of our growing children’s ministry and youth group, as well as our constant support and attendance of our mid age families and elders of the church. We are excited about what the Lord has in store for us in our new worship leader, someone who loves the Lord and is looking to follow God’s call in leading our congregation.
