Worship Pastor Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee and direct the Worship Arts Ministry
Provide oversight and management to the Worship Arts Department
Plan and prepare worship services each week
Prepare printed Worship Guide for services
Lead worship services each week
Lead weekly production meetings and quarterly planning meeting
Coordinate worship plans with support staff (ie. Production/Communication)
Recruit and mentor volunteer musicians, vocalists, and other team members
Manage expenses within the approved annual budget
Plan and give oversight to special events, elements, and servicesLord’s Supper (monthly)
Christmas Concert (annually)
Other worship services as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Affirm East Cooper Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent
Willing to become a member of East Cooper Baptist Church
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
M.Div or MM (preferred)
At least five years of experience in leading worship
Proficiency in vocals and at least one instrument
Able to read and arrange music
Proven leadership skills in team building and management
Experience with Planning Center, ProPresenter, and other similar software
Communication skills
Collaborative spirit
Humility and a desire to serve others
Organized and flexible
Strong interpersonal skills
