Interim Pastor Full Time

Our beloved Pastor of nearly 34 years recently retired. We are seeking an Interim Pastor that meets the Biblical qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. To provide the congregation a sense of stability in leadership while preaching sound Biblical doctrine. To provide ongoing evaluation of the general church health and help develop actions for correction or improvement as we transition toward God’s next Pastor for East Ridge. To provide adequate pastoral care of the congregation. He will work with the staff, deacons, and volunteers to ensure that shepherding, visitation, baptism, ministry, and counseling needs are addressed. 
We are a Southern Baptist Church that was formed in 2005 by the merging of Twelfth Street Baptist and Murray Street Baptist churches. Both churches had been in existence for over 50 years but were struggling in different areas. Together we are stronger and have become one family. We are excited about what God is doing and are described as “A Fellowship of Love”.
