Worship Leader Part Time

Excell Baptist Church is seeking the man God has called to lead us towards God’s throne in order to worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24)
• Display the character needed for a leader in the church (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1).
• Exhibit the ability to lead with humility, grace, and excellence.
• Be a member in good standing of a church of like-faith and order and be willing and able to join in membership with the church.
• A background in music, technology and an appreciation for a blended program are desirable.
• Be comfortable in using technology, including worship software (e.g. Planning Center, ProPresenter, etc.), audio / visual multimedia systems.
• Plan and lead weekly services, under the direct leadership of the Senior Pastor, ensuring alignment with sermon and church’s mission
• Contextualize the worship experience, by selecting music, leading worship, directing a small praise ensemble
• Conduct a mid-week practice session.
