ActivePosition Summary: The Fall Creek Ministry Intern will work under the guidance of
church leadership to gain hands-on experience in various areas of church ministry in an
effort to assist FCC in progressing its ministry and allowing other staff members the
freedom to focus on other priorities. This position is designed for a college student or
high school graduate who feels called to ministry or seeks to explore the potential of
serving in a church setting. The intern will actively participate in and support a wide
range of church activities, assisting church staff, and equipping the intern with practical
skills and insight into ministry work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Youth and Children’s Ministry:
a. Plan and lead activities, lessons, and events for youth and children.
b. Serve as a mentor and role model, building relationships with students
and families.
c. Support the teen summer mission trip and participate as a youth leader
while on the trip.
2. Community Outreach:
a. Participate in planning and executing outreach events or mission projects.
b. Support the 1st Friday Outreach ministry.
3. Administrative Duties:
a. Support the pastoral staff with administrative tasks, such as organizing
schedules, managing communications, and preparing materials.
b. Attend staff meetings and provide input on ongoing and future projects.
4. General Ministry Engagement:
a. Shadow church staff to observe day-to-day ministry operations.
b. Take initiative in identifying areas where support is needed and contribute
to church life.
c. Assist with special projects, events, and ministries as needed.
Qualifications:
A committed Christian with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Currently a high school graduate or enrolled in college, preferably with an interest
in ministry, theology, or related fields, preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, flexible, and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
A heart for serving others and a passion for the local church.
Compensation: This is a part-time, paid internship lasting approximately 10-12 weeks
during the summer. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Supervisor: The intern will report to a yet to be identified staff person or Elder of the
church and work closely with other ministry leaders. Such supervision will be finalized
based on the needs of the church and the chosen intern.

ministry. While specific tasks may vary, the goal is to equip the intern with valuable
skills, insights, and experiences to discern their future calling.
