Oversee Greeter ministry Recruit & Train leaders
Follow up with new members & prospects
Develop & oversee onboarding process First half of the DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY
Lead new member classesHelp develop our new member procedure
Oversee a follow up strategy for visitors & prospective church members
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Coordinate adult Sunday School
Recruit & train teachers & hosts
Identify potential new teachers & create new groups
Provide pastoral care and build a community for and with lay leaders in the areas of Adult Discipleship.
Evaluate and select Quarterly curriculum for the whole church to use
Evaluate & approve any potential curriculum for groups to use other than the church wide quarterly curriculum
Overseeing information and tracking of small group participants and leaders.
DISCIPLESHIP STRATEGY
Assist pastor and other staff in the development of a DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY
Help build a long range discipleship strategy for 1-1 / 1-2 discipleshipDevelop & oversee 1-1 / 1-2 discipleship strategy
Create additional adult discipleship opportunities on Wednesday nights for specific areas of need. Finances, parenting, etc.
Semester (6-8 weeks sessions)
ADULT MINISTRIES
Focus Adult ministry on discipleship & events, emphasizing discipleship
Oversee Men’s ministryEvents, small groups, leaders
Coordinate with women’s ministry teamWork closely with ladies ministry team to plan: events, small groups, leaders
Coordinate with Senior Adult MinistryWork closely with Senior Adult Council to assist in senior adult ministry
Provide pastoral care and build of community for and with lay leaders in the areas of Adult Discipleship.
ADDITIONAL STAFF ROLES
Work closely with Student Pastor, Children’s Ministry Director, and Preschool director to ensure discipleship strategies are philosophically aligned
Preaching & teaching duties as needed
Assist in pastoral duties as needed & directed by senior pastor
