Part Time Children’s Ministry Director

The First Baptist Church in Covington Texas is prayerfully seeking a part time Children’s Ministry Director. It is our hope that this position can transition into a full-time position.

Covington Texas is halfway between Waco and Forth Worth on the I-35 corridor. It is located in the fastest growing and most diverse megaregion in the United States. This area is changing at a rapid pace and the area around us has the most available land for people to locate to within this region. Our local public school recently secured a nearly 10-million-dollar bond in response to the growth that has already occurred, and in preparation for the influx of the projected growth for our area in the future.

God is doing a work among us and has given us property and a building in a prime location for ministry outreach. We believe anyone can be saved and are looking for an addition to our team to live out that concept among the youth in our area. Our Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Accountable Process are in place, guided by values that undergird these statements. We are a Pastor led, Deacon served, Congregationalist form of church government. We are anticipating a move of God in our area with the families with children and are praying for the right person to take this leadership position.

*A definitive call to Children’s Ministry
*A Bachelor’s degree preferred
*Married
*Previous ministry experience with appropriate recommendations
