Pastor of Worship & Administration Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION Pastor of Worship & Administration Position Description: The Pastor of Worship & Administration will oversee and lead the worship ministry as well as maintain operational excellence for the church. This position will also provide leadership in senior adult ministry as well as assist the pastor in pastoral care. Areas of Leadership: Worship – This is the primary objective — ● Serve as primary worship leader ● Organize and schedule volunteers to serve ● Oversee the instrumentalists, praise team, and choir ● Oversee the worship budget ● Plan and lead worship services and rehearsals ● Provide direction, oversight, and coordination of artistic and technical elements of worship services ● Provide supervision for the church Audio/Visual Team ● Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve Administration ● Provide oversight into the day-to-day church operations as Office Manager ● Provide oversight into the general Human Resource function for all employees ● Manage church calendar and oversee facility usage ● Provide oversight into the budget and finance operations ● Assist Pastor in follow-up to visitors/new members ● Oversee First Impressions/Greeters (Security Ministry) ● Ex-officio on Property and Grounds and oversee any necessary repairs, maintenance, and facility issues Senior Adult Ministry ● Provide leadership to Senior Adult ministry and activities ● Provide care for Senior Adults through church, nursing home, and homebound ministries ● Assist pastor with hospital and homebound visits NOTE: All items listed above are not mandatory job duties.
