Senior Pastor Full Time

First Baptist Church of Cochran is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in faithfully proclaiming God’s Word, shepherding our church family, and providing spiritual and administrative leadership. The successful candidate will have a heart for evangelism, discipleship, pastoral care, and equipping believers for ministry while working alongside church staff and leadership to fulfill the mission of the church. We are seeking a Christ-centered leader who is committed to biblical preaching, Southern Baptist doctrine, and leading our church to impact our community and the world for Christ.
Key Qualifications & Responsibilities
-Christian with a Master’s Degree from an accredited seminary (Southern Baptist Seminary preferred.)
-Experience serving in a Southern Baptist church.
-Preach biblically grounded sermons and lead corporate worship.
-Lead and supervise church staff while providing vision for the church’s ministries.
-Work collaboratively with deacons, committees, and church leadership.
