Director of Youth/Worship leader Full Time

First Baptist Church of Gate City, VA is looking to hire a full-time director of youth ministries & worship leader. This is a combination ministry position entailing dual ministry roles. 

Director of Youth Ministries & Worship Leader

Education:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required.

Director of Youth Ministries*

• Lead the middle school, high school, college programs and ministry (including weekly meetings, small groups, events, outreach, and service).

• Work closely with ministry staff to share the vision, mission, and values of the church and coordinate these to flow into the youth ministries. 

Worship Leader*

• Oversee planning of weekly worship service in cooperation with lead pastor.

• Lead in the creation of effective worship ministry that incorporates diverse music, instruments, and people.
