Senior Pastor; First Baptist Church of Jefferson, GA

FBC Jefferson is seeking a Senior Pastor who will provide inspiring leadership to fulfill
the Great Commission in our growing community and beyond. A pastor who preaches
and teaches from the Bible and grows discipleship in traditional and contemporary
worship environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the pastoral needs of the congregation.
• Plan and oversee the worship service experience and prepare and deliver sermons.
• Lead the church in effective evangelism, outreach and discipleship programs for those in the church and community.
• Work with deacons, church officers, ministries and committees as they serve and perform their responsibilities within the church.
• Oversee and execute the administration of the church including the supervision and leading of all pastoral and church staff.
• Possess a strong desire to love and engage with members of the congregation and community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Senior Pastor experience and/or Associate Pastor experience within a large
  congregation preferred
