Associate Pastor of Worship

A. Principal function: Associate Pastor of Worship is responsible for implementing the vision of the Senior Pastor through the management of the entire music, worship and audio/visual ministries.

B. Responsibilities

1. Worship service

a) Plan and coordinate worship with Senior Pastor.

b) Provide a worship guide and order for worship team.

c) Organize, rehearse and maintain worship band, orchestra, praise team and choir.

d) Special programs: Plan, organize and implement special worship events and services such as Christmas, Easter, non-seasonal, etc.

2. Sound equipment and audio/visual

a) Maintain and keep equipment in operational shape.

b) Research and recommend upgrades to system.

c) Recruit and manage volunteers to operate systems for worship, facility usage and life events (i.e. weddings, funerals, etc.).

3. Administrative

a) Create and maintain an annual budget for all music, worship, audio/visual ministries.

b) Coordinate with other ministries to avoid conflict, duplications and overlapping of events and activities.

c) Maintain music library (band charts, orchestrations, vocal charts, etc.);

d) Maintain media library and volunteers

(1) Organize presenter media for worship services;

(2) Organize and maintain worship videos and clips.
