Lead Pastor Full Time

Primary Duties:
* Biblical preaching and teaching that evangelizes the lost and challenges and edifies the believer.
* Develop sermons and sermon series and provide sound Biblical expository preaching/teaching with relevant application.
* A love for people and the ability to connect/relate to people of all ages.
* Lead Sunday worship service and any midweek services.
* Maintain oversight of the ministries of the church.
* Work with church leadership to communicate the church vision.
* Serve as an ex-officio member of committees.
* Serve as moderator for church members’ meetings.
* Lead in love, as a servant-leader, and shepherd the staff.
* Represent FBC Mt. Orab in the local community.
* Pastoral care and Biblical counseling to members/community.
* Conduct weddings and funerals of church members.
* Oversee and assist the deacons with benevolence.
* Direct and assist the elders and deacons with hospital/shut-in visits.
* Meets the qualifications for a church leader from 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-9.
