Associate Pastor of Worship Full Time

Belleview First Baptist Church is seeking a full‑time Associate Pastor of Worship to lead our worship ministry in a way that glorifies God, supports the proclamation of the Gospel, and helps make disciples.  

Position Overview:
The Associate Pastor of Worship will provide spiritual, musical, and organizational leadership for all worship-related ministries of the church. This role includes leading congregational worship, discipling worship ministry participants of all ages, and overseeing music and technical aspects of worship services. 

Reporting Relationship:
– Reports to the Senior Pastor 
– Accountable to the Administrative Council 
 
Key Responsibilities:
– Worship Leadership
– Plan and lead musical worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor 
– Provide vocal and platform leadership for congregational worship 
– Lead, train, and disciple the choir, praise team, ensembles, and other musical groups 
– Recruit and develop volunteer vocalists, instrumentalists, youth and children’s music leaders 
– Plan and conduct annual Christmas, Easter, and seasonal musical productions, as needed 
– Technical & Production Oversight 
– Oversee the operation of the church’s audiovisual systems (sound, lighting, cameras, projection) 
– Coordinate maintenance and care of musical instruments and equipment 
– Provide leadership for the technical teams supporting worship services 
– Ministry Collaboration & Pastoral Support 
– Participate in staff meetings and leadership meetings 
– Foster strong relationships across church ministries 
– Coordinate weekly chapel services for Belleview Christian Academy 
– Provide leadership and direction for Children’s and/or Student Choir and Music Ministries 
– Assist with teaching, pastoral care, weddings, funerals, and other pastoral duties as needed 
– Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, member care, and counseling alongside church staff 
 
Qualifications:
– A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear call to worship ministry 
– Demonstrated ability to lead Christ‑centered, congregational worship 
– Experience working with choirs, praise teams, and volunteer musicians 
– Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
– Ability to work collaboratively with pastoral staff and church leadership 
 
Compensation: 
– Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 annually 
– Salary package breakdown will be determined during the interview process
