First Baptist Church of Bunker, Missouri is currently seeking a pastor following the retirement of the current pastor. We are part of the Reynolds County Baptist Association (RCBA), located in southeastern Missouri. Responsibilities of our next pastor will be to work to advance the Great Commission through work carried out by shepherding the local church. Accomplishing this will require faithful, accurate Bible teaching, preaching, and mission work. The requirements are:

• A born-again believing male who agrees with and practices the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Meets the biblical requirements for a pastor (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4 ).
• A seminary training is preferred, but all Biblically qualified men will be considered.
• Candidates should be theologically conservative and hold to Scriptural inerrancy, sufficiency, and authority.
• Pastors who have been divorced for any reason will not be considered.
• As Bunker is a rural community, candidates who have lived and served in rural communities will be preferred.
• A passion for missions and evangelism.
• Parsonage available.
