Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, Spirit-led bi-vocational pastor who is passionate about preaching the Word of God, building relationships, and shepherding a diverse congregation. The ideal candidate will be relatable to both older and younger members, bringing energy, compassion, and biblical wisdom to our church family.

Key Responsibilities:

Preach and teach biblically sound sermons on Sundays
Provide pastoral care, including visitation, counseling, and prayer
Lead or support Bible studies and discipleship opportunities
Collaborate with church leadership to guide the vision, mission and purpose of the church
Engage with the local community and encourage outreach efforts
Officiate weddings, funerals, and other church ceremonies as needed
Qualifications:

A clear calling to pastoral ministry
Ability to relate to and communicate with all age groups
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message of 2000, adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention
Seminary education or theological training preferred but not required
Must be able to maintain a second source of income (bi-vocational)
