SENIOR PASTOR FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF HAYNESVILLE – HAYNESVILLE, GA

We are seeking a man of God to lead a congregation in Middle GA, Houston County. First Baptist Church of Haynesville (FBCH) has been blessed to celebrate our 200th Anniversary in October, 2024. FBCH has an established congregation with an average weekly attendance of 250+. We have a full-time paid staff and excellent facilities. FBCH is a multi-ministry church with programs for the youngest to the oldest. The reason we exist is to reach souls for Christ and edify the saints of the Lord according to Matthew 28:18-20. PASTORAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR FBCH  Meets the Biblical qualifications of I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9  Supports the full Baptist Faith and Message of June 2000  Prefer education from an accredited seminary or divinity school  Strong Bible preacher  Experienced Leadership and Supervisory skills with Church staff and Church officers  Prefer five (5) years of Senior pastoral experience as a Southern Baptist pastor  Involvement with the congregation and pastoral care  Planner and Visionary  Display heart for growth through soul winning and outreach PASTORAL RESPONSIBILITIES  Plan and conduct worship services  Lead in the observance of ordinances of Baptism and The Lord’s Supper  Provide counseling, perform weddings, perform funerals  Function as moderator of all church business meetings  Adhere to the Church Bylaws of FBCH (This is a fulltime position with full compensation package based on qualifications and experience). ********************************
