Youth Pastor (Associate Pastor to Students) Full Time

Are you passionate about guiding young hearts, fostering spiritual growth, and creating a vibrant
welcoming space for youth to connect with God and each other? We are seeking a dynamic,
relational, and creative Youth Pastor to lead, inspire, and walk alongside our middle and high
school students on their faith journey.
First Baptist Church High Springs Florida is seeking a Youth Pastor to oversee and develop
dynamic, relevant, and impactful youth ministry programming for students in grades 6-12. The
ideal candidate will possess a heart for discipleship and service, experience in youth ministry
leadership, and the ability to connect with students, families, and volunteers in meaningful ways.
Key responsibilities include:
● Plan and lead engaging weekly youth group gatherings focused on spiritual growth and
community-building
● Design and oversee ministry events, retreats, missions trips, and service opportunities.
● Build authentic relationships with students, parents, and church volunteers.
● Recruit, train, and support a team of committed volunteers for effective youth ministry.
● Collaborate with the church staff and leadership to ensure alignment with church vision
and goals.
● Provide pastoral care and counseling for students and families as needed.
Qualifications include:
● A heart for youth ministry and a passion for teaching the Word of God.
● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of students and
their families.
● Experience leading youth programs, events, or ministry roles preferred.
● Degree in Ministry, Theology, or a related field is strongly encouraged.
● Proven ability to recruit and train volunteers effectively.
● Must be doctrinally sound with a confession of Faith aligning with the Southern Baptist
Faith and Message.
● Must be licensed and ordained, or able to be ordained as prescribed by the standards of
1 Timothy 3:1-7.
