Associate Pastor to Students Full Time

First Baptist Church in Mena, Arkansas has a vacancy for the full-time Associate Pastor to Students position. We are prayerfully seeking an Associate Pastor to Students who is called by God to nurture the spiritual growth and development of children and students from birth through college. He will also work in cooperation with the Senior Pastor, other staff, and the deacons as we seek to build strong marriages, parent-child relationships, and families within our church family. The candidate must be personally dedicated to Jesus Christ as his Savior and the Lord of his life, must be baptized (by immersion) as a follower of Jesus Christ, must support the tenets of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and must meet the Biblical qualifications found in First Timothy, chapter and Titus, chapter 1.

We are a congregation with a normal weekly attendance of about 125 and a Sunday school attendance of about 90. Mena is a town of about 6,000 people in a beautiful, growing rural county in southwestern Arkansas. Educational Requirement: The applicant must have some education from a Bible college or seminary.

Experience Requirement: It is preferred that he has previous experience working with children and/or youth.
