First Baptist Church is seeking a full-time senior pastor to lead our church.

·      Active membership is approximately 102.

·      Average worship attendance is approximately 125.

·      Portales is a college-based city, and church attendance increases during the school year.

·      Serving Cannon Air Force Base

·      Small group attendance on average is 158.

·      Current programs include children, youth, college ministries, and Celebrate Recovery.

·      Portales is a rural community, located of the east central side of New Mexico with a population of 12,132 (2020 census)

·      The economy is mixed with agriculture (farm, ranching & dairy), Eastern New Mexico University and Canon Airforce Base (located between Clovis and Portales)
