First Baptist Church of Princeton is a historic church in the heart of Princeton, Kentucky, with a long-standing commitment to proclaiming the Gospel, discipling believers, and serving the local community. Our desire is to CONNECT to Jesus and others so that we can be ROOTED and RISING in the Light of Christ! Located at 300 West Main Street, First Baptist Church has been a part of the Princeton community for generations and continues to provide opportunities for people of all ages to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We are currently averaging about 285 people on Sunday Morning worship, with a majority of young families. FBC Princeton is a rich opportunity to be a part of God’s mighty movement!
Our church is currently experiencing a season of renewed ministry and opportunity. Each week, we gather for Sunday School and worship, while Wednesday evenings provide a midweek environment where children, students, and adults can connect, learn, and grow together. Our student ministry, The Uprising Youth, provides a dedicated ministry to the next generation and meets weekly as part of our Wednesday night programming.
There is no such thing as a perfect church, but we believe healthy churches are churches that continually seek God’s direction, remain committed to His Word, and are willing to follow Him as He leads. First Baptist Church desires to be that kind of church, a congregation committed to biblical truth, authentic relationships, discipleship, prayer, and reaching the Princeton community with the hope of Jesus Christ. Our desire is not simply to maintain what has been done in the past, but to build faithfully on the foundation that previous generations have established while looking toward what God wants to do through the church in the future. We believe that one of our greatest opportunities is investing in children and students and helping them develop a genuine, lifelong faith in Jesus Christ.
As we look ahead, we are excited about the opportunity to strengthen and expand our ministry to students and families. We are praying for God’s direction, wisdom, and the right leaders who will come alongside our church and help us reach more young people with the Gospel, disciple them in their faith, and help them become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
