Senior Adult Ministry Director

First Baptist Church is seeking a fulltime Senior Adult Ministry Director. 

The person must be a consecrated servant of God with a sense of a divine calling to this particular work. The Senior Adult Coordinator shall attend weekly staff meetings, work with staff as needed on special events, and communicate with staff members and strive for synergy. This person will prepare and administer the budget for Senior Adult programs, work with staff to make hospital visits and new prospect visits, visit shut-in, nursing home and assistant living residents monthly, and visit all senior adult homes on a quarterly basis. Senior Adult Coordinator should be on-call for emergencies after hours and as reasonable, attend funerals and wakes for senior adult church members. This person should plan and promote senior adult activities such as annual bus trips as defined by senior adult committee, monthly game nights, monthly senior adult luncheon and short-day trips for older senior adults. The Senior Adult coordinator will meet at least quarterly with Senior Adult Committee and perform other duties as assigned by Pastor.
